Lab Grown Diamond Ring Prices by Carat: Real 2026 Prices
At Milagros Jewel, a complete 14K gold engagement ring with an IGI-certified lab grown center diamond costs about $1,160 at 1 carat, $1,320 at 1.5 carats, $1,660 at 2 carats and $2,310 at 3 carats. These are the middle prices of the rings on our site today. A simple solitaire costs less: from $719 at 1 carat and from $999 at 2 carats.
Prices for lab grown diamonds have changed a lot in the last few years, and many price guides online are already out of date. So instead of quoting general market figures, this guide uses the real prices of the engagement rings we sell today. We checked every engagement ring on our site on 5 October 2026: 740 designs in total.
Lab grown diamond ring prices by carat
Most of our engagement rings are complete rings: the price already includes an IGI-certified lab grown center diamond, usually E–F color and VVS–VS clarity, made to order in the metal you choose. The table shows 14K gold prices.

Milagros Jewel engagement ring prices in 14K gold on 5 October 2026. "Typical price" is the middle price of all designs at that carat weight. "Most rings cost" is the range of the middle half of designs. The carat weight is the one in each ring's name; the exact weight of the center diamond is listed on each ring's page. Prices change, so always check the ring's own page.
What the numbers show
Going from 1 carat to 2 carats does not double the price. Our typical 2 carat ring costs about 43% more than our typical 1 carat ring, not twice as much. With lab grown diamonds, much of a ring's price is the setting, the metal and the work, not only the size of the stone.
Larger lab grown diamonds have also fallen in price faster than small ones. Industry analyst Edahn Golan's wholesale price list showed lab grown prices about 13% lower in the second quarter of 2026 than a year before, with 2 carat stones down about 20% and 1 carat stones roughly flat (+1%).1
How much the metal adds
The same ring costs more in 18K gold or platinum than in 10K or 14K gold, because those metals cost more. Here are the middle prices of our 37 two-carat solitaires in each metal:
