Vintage Engagement Rings

The Milagros Guide

Vintage inspired lab grown diamond engagement rings, made to order in New York

Vintage inspired engagement rings bring back details from the Victorian, Edwardian and Art Deco eras. Look for milgrain edges, open filigree, floral halos, scroll galleries and geometric lines. Every ring is new and made to order, so you get the old-world look with a lab grown diamond and modern craftsmanship.

Details that make a ring look vintage

  • 01Milgrain and filigree

Milgrain is a row of tiny metal beads along the edges. Filigree is fine, open metalwork. Both give a ring a soft, antique feel.

  • 02Floral and halo designs

Petal-shaped halos and floral accents were popular in older rings. They make the center stone look larger too.

  • 03Old-style shapes

Cushion, Asscher, emerald and marquise shapes match a vintage look well. Round diamonds work too.

Is a vintage inspired ring an antique?

No. It is a new ring made in an older style. It is made to order with a new lab grown diamond.

Which diamond shapes look most vintage?

Cushion, Asscher, emerald and marquise cuts have a classic, old-world feel. They pair well with milgrain and filigree details.

Are lab grown diamonds real diamonds?

Yes. A lab grown diamond has the same chemical makeup, hardness and sparkle as a mined diamond. It is grown in a lab instead of being mined.
