The round brilliant is the classic engagement ring shape and the one with the most sparkle. Its facets are arranged to send light back up through the top of the stone, so it shines from every angle. Round diamonds suit every setting, from simple solitaires to halos, hidden halos and three-stone rings.
What to look for in a round diamond

01Cut grade
For a round diamond, cut matters most for sparkle. Look for an Ideal or Excellent cut grade on the IGI report.

02Color and clarity
A well-cut round hides small inclusions well, so you can often choose a slightly lower clarity and put the budget into size or cut. Request an exact grade in the Custom Text box.

03Setting
Four prongs show more of the diamond; six prongs hold it more securely and look rounder.
Every center stone comes with its own IGI report, and the report number is laser-inscribed on the diamond. Choose 10K, 14K or 18K gold, or platinum on many designs. Each ring is made to order at our New York office and arrives in 12–14 business days, with free insured shipping in the US.

Are lab grown diamonds real diamonds?
Yes. A lab grown diamond has the same chemical makeup, hardness and sparkle as a mined diamond. It is grown in a lab instead of being mined.
Is a round diamond more expensive than other shapes?
Round diamonds usually cost more per carat than fancy shapes like oval or pear, because more of the rough crystal is cut away to make them.
