Halo Engagement Rings

The Milagros Guide

Lab grown diamond halo engagement rings, made to order in New York

A halo ring has a circle of small diamonds around the center stone. The halo adds extra sparkle and makes the center diamond look bigger than its carat weight. Halos work with almost every shape, from round and oval to cushion, pear and emerald, and you can pair them with a plain band or a pavé band for even more shine.

How to choose a halo engagement ring

  • 01Halo style

A classic halo sits around the side of the center stone and is easy to see. A hidden halo sits under the stone and shows from the side. A double halo has two rings of diamonds for the most sparkle.

  • 02Center shape

Round and cushion halos look soft and classic. Oval, pear and emerald halos look longer and more modern. The halo follows the shape of your center stone.

  • 03Size on the hand

A halo makes the center stone look noticeably bigger. If you want a big look on a smaller budget, a halo is a smart choice.

Our promise

Every center stone comes with its own IGI report, and the report number is laser-inscribed on the diamond. Choose 10K, 14K or 18K gold, or platinum on many designs. Each ring is made to order at our New York office and arrives in 12–14 business days, with free insured shipping in the US.

What is the difference between a halo and a hidden halo?

A halo circles the center stone where everyone can see it. A hidden halo sits below the center stone, so the ring looks like a solitaire from the top and shows a surprise sparkle from the side.

Does a halo make a diamond look bigger?

Yes. The ring of small diamonds adds width around the center stone, so it looks larger on the hand than a solitaire with the same center stone.

Will a wedding band sit flush with a halo ring?

It depends on the design. Our team can help you choose a band that sits well next to your halo ring.

Can I see a ring in person?

Yes. Book an appointment at our office at 580 5th Ave, Suite 2300, New York, or meet us on a video call.
